"We are veterans when it comes to dealing with contractors and with renovations, and few contracts have been positive. Most, in fact, have been in the nightmare category. We always expect the worst, and have seldom been disappointed.

Big L's had been an exception, rather than the rule. The entire experience with them has been as painless as such projects can be. Replacement of windows throughout the house is not without inconvenience, but the staff of Big L made it is as easy as was possible.

What we appreciated most was the fact that we were kept in the loop throughout, a rarity in our experience where it is the norm to simply not show up when promised. Big L's technicians showed up on time, and we were always notified and/or consulted when there was a change in schedule (in our case, this was necessitated at the end of the project by an unforeseen structural problem) to keep us updated and to keep disruption in our lives to a minimum. The staff members were a well orchestrated, functioning team, all to our benefit.

In a word, the performance of all - from Mr. Turner to Ms. Setlock to all the technicians - was that of Professionals. We look forward to enjoying the end product.
